Chloe Meng
M.Ed
 Chloe graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, with a Master degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, specialized in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. She had taught Chinese as a second language in a university in Beijing for eight years before joining the teaching team at Toronto Mandarin School three years ago. Ms. Meng has extensive experience of teaching students from various age groups and cultures, in different class sizes and levels. She has strong skills in interacting with students and creating an enjoyable learning experience that encourages them to improve their language skills in all aspects. She loves teaching Mandarin and is good at enriching her teaching with engaging her hobbies in painting, music and sports. Her enthusiasm and skillful methods in teaching Mandarin are always appreciated by her students.

Meng Li
Ph.D., M.Ed
 Meng graduated with a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature Education from Beijing Capital Normal University. She also received an M. Ed. from Brock University, and a Ph.D. in education from the University of Saskatchewan. Meng was a successful language arts teacher in a well-known middle school in Beijing and won many teaching awards. She was also a writer and won the "Best New Writer of the Year" in Beijing. Meng has been teaching Mandarin as a foreign language in Canada for more than 10 years. She emphasizes the importance of students' learning interests and encourages students to practice their Mandarin skills in the real life. Meng also holds the highest level certificate of the "National Proficiency Test of Mandarin" so she is very good at helping students with their pronunciation.

Theresa Fu
M.Ed, TCFL
 Theresa has two Master's Degrees in Language Education (Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language at Jinan University and Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, at University of Toronto). She acquired more than three years experience teaching adults, university students and school-aged students in both China and Philippines. She is enthusiastic about exploring various teaching methods and incorporates the students’ interests, needs and abilities, into her lesson plans. As a big fan of Chinese calligraphy, painting, and paper-cutting, Theresa often introduces these traditional activities, which makes the lessons fun and interesting.

Jasmine Dong
RECE, Site Supervisor
Jasmine worked as a kindergarten teacher for more than 10 years before immigrating to Canada. She attended Centennial College in Toronto and received her ECE certification. She is a well-known, certified instructor of children's dance and performance art. Jasmine is a talented, award-winning teacher who inspires young children to express themselves in many artistic ways.

Nicole Hu
RECE
Nicole is the youngest member of JINGBAO™ Scarborough. Her childhood dream of being an early childhood educator motivated her to attend Seneca Collage, where she received her ECE diploma in 2011. Nicole is the head ECE teacher in the preschool classroom. In this position, she is a calm, engaging and fun leader. She shows great passion, patience and a loving heart when working with children.

Amanda Feng

Amanda graduated with a Master's Degree in Chinese Language and Education from Henan Normal University. She also attended Centennial College and received a certificate in ECE and Early Childhood Resource Consultant (Special Needs). Amanda is a dedicated educator with more than 20 years experience working with children. Before she moved to Canada, she was a Chinese Language and Literature teacher in the top Junior High School in Beijing, China. She is an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher who loves to engage students and inspire them to be passionate about learning.

Jessie Wu

Jessie graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Seneca College and received a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from York University. Her motto is to "Be a teacher. Be a friend." This has always helped her to foster strong friendships with her students by encouraging mutual respect. She is conscientious, hard working and detail oriented. Jessie likes to use music and arts and crafts in her lessons, as she finds it encourages hands-on learning. Jessie believes everyone has potential for greatness and a uniqueness, worthy of sharing.

Chloe Qian

Chloe studied Education in three different countries and has a Master's Degree in Education from University of Saskatchewan. She is very enthusiastic about teaching Mandarin as a second language, which she started teaching when she was a graduate student. Chloe is a very passionate teacher and is mastering her skills at designing individualized and group-learning programs for students of different ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. She has taught students from more than 20 different countries.

Jennifer Li

Jennifer graduated from Beijing International Studies University, specializing in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. She has taught Mandarin to all ages (preschool to adult) and in various formats (one-on- one, private classes to group classes). Jennifer is a dedicated teacher, always perfecting her lessons and delivery. She is energetic, friendly and enjoys getting to know her students.

Yijun Zhou

Yijun graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Sheridan College. She loves to work with and help children learn and develop their communication skills. She likes to get to know each student - understanding their learning style and personality - and then using that knowledge to teach them in an appropriate manner. Yijun understands the importance of building and maintaining positive relationships with her students and their parents.

Jian has a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Literature from East China Normal University and a Diploma in Professional Primary Education (Arts) from Shanghai Normal University. Her credentials also include: Senior Teacher of the Primary Language qualifications and Mandarin-Level Certification. Jian has over 12 years of experience teaching Chinese. Currently, she is working toward getting her Early Childhood Education Diploma. Jian is respected for her extensive experience, professionalism and patience. She is not afraid to experiment with new teaching methods. She is appreciated for her dynamic and animated teaching style.

Rosy has an ECE Diploma from Mohawk College and a Child and Youth Study Degree from Brock University. Rosy studied traditional Chinese art in China. After immigrating to Canada, she discovered her passion for teaching young children. Rosy loves to work with children and enjoys playing, guiding and learning along with them. She believes that positive support and encouragement helps children build confidence and helps them to develop a life-long love of learning.

Lin Chen

Lin is an experienced early childcare educator with over 20 years of experience. During her 12-year career in China, Lin taught and mentored children in preparation for numerous national contests. After immigrating to Canada, she worked at various childcare centres for eight years. Lin enjoys working with children and they love her dearly. Lin believes children learn best when they are playing and engaging in creative and fun activities.

Claire Zhang

Claire received her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from Seneca College in 2015. Her work placements (with various age groups) provided her with invaluable experience. She is currently working in the preschool and toddler room at JINGBAO™ Children’s Centre and as a Parent & Tot program instructor at Toronto Mandarin School. Claire values children as capable learners. She is passionate about working with and learning along with her students.

Tina worked as a kindergarten teacher for more than 20 years before immigrating to Canada. She upgraded her skills at Victoria International College, Toronto and earned a certificate after completing the Early Childhood Education Assistant program. Tina has a genuine love for children and for teaching. She especially enjoys reading stories to children.

Mary Jiang

Mary worked as an elementary school teacher for more than 15 years in China and won many awards for excellence in teaching. After immigrating to Canada, she upgraded her skills as an assistant in Early Childhood Education and worked in several child care centres and educational centres before joining JINGBAO™. Mary loves working with children. Her professionalism at the centre is exemplary and she is an invaluable member of the JINGBAO™ team. Children like to call her "Teacher Mom."

Shirley received her Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Literature while living in China. She then earned her Master's Degree in Sociology from Acadia University, Canada. Since graduating, she has been teaching elementary and preschool children Mandarin. Shirley’s education and work experiences have deepened her love of working with children.

She headed the English Department of a leading University in China prior to coming to Canada. She has been working in the field of early childhood education for more than 10 years. Karen demonstrates in-depth knowledge and excellent skills working with young children and families of different needs.

After moving to Canada, Sophia attended Centennial College and earned an ECE Diploma. She is passionate about nurturing young children’s personal interests and individual needs.

She also graduated from Beijing Capital Normal University in Beijing and taught Mandarin to students of diverse backgrounds for more than 12 years. Gaolan has a thorough understanding of how students learn in today’s classroom and as a result, she is willing to challenge traditional teaching methods in order to engage students and get them learning Mandarin in a fun learning environment.

Lauren is an energetic and fun teacher. As a foreign language teaching practitioner-researcher, she acquired knowledge of the latest theories and research findings that can assist with teaching a second language. She uses this knowledge to understand her students' learning styles and needs. She was also an editor with World Journal of Education and Journal of Curriculum and Teaching.

Vivian is dedicated to getting to know her students' individual needs. She creates an interactive classroom with various age-appropriate activities that stimulate her students' interest in learning. She loves to sing and teach by using Chinese songs.
